After a successful year supporting Shout as our charity of the year in 2022, we are pleased to announce our new charity for 2023, chosen by our employees.
Icon Relocation staff in all teams from Icon’s four offices around the world were given the opportunity to vote for their preferred charity and Friends of Sussex Hospices was selected.
Friends of Sussex Hospices is a charity run entirely by volunteers. They raise funds, through a variety of activities, to support the running costs of the 13 hospice care providers serving the adults and children in Sussex.
Supporting charitable causes is one of Icon Relocation’s core values and we have supported a variety of charities for many years. This year, with the high cost of living causing problems for communities across the UK, we decided to support a smaller charitable initiative close to one of our offices to support the local community.
One of our aims as a company relocating assignees around the world is to ensure every single one feels comfortable at home and respected in their new environment. Friends of Sussex Hospices fundraises to help hospices across Sussex do the same for those in the area who have illnesses thought to be incurable, and their families and loved ones.
We are very much looking forward to supporting Friends of Sussex Hospices throughout this year.
