Global reach & partners
We’ve worked hard to develop our award-winning methods to ensure we deliver the best service to our clients and assignees.
But it doesn’t stop with us.
Truly effective global service provision is delivered through partnership. And it’s important we know we can rely on our service partners to deliver to our high standards and with the same regulatory compliance.
That’s why we’ve been leading members of the key global mobility networks. Since 2001, we’ve worked to integrate network services with our own to provide outstanding global relocation, enhanced by our leading tech products.
And rather than working with a few providers, we offer a choice of the best in global mobility.
Harmony Relocation Network
- As a member and shareholder in the Harmony Relocation Network, with 143 global relocation companies located in 64 countries, we can guarantee a fully global, seamless service.
- The network supports integrated service contracts to harness the very best of the combined skills and strengths of the member companies worldwide. Each partner has signed up to a set of independently-audited stringent standards, practices and code of conduct with a strong emphasis on personal, long-term relationships and superior quality of service, with the requirement that all members are ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified within two years of membership.
- All our employees and network member companies have committed to Harmony’s code of conduct. This code sets out our commitment to important topics such as ethical behaviour, integrity, sustainability, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-competition, and GDPR. It also states how you can expect our network, our companies and our employees to behave to ensure we always try our best to do the right thing. The entire network follows annual, mandatory compliance training.
The European Relocation Association network
- We are members of Europe’s largest network of global mobility providers from all specialist areas of the relocation industry. We are the longest standing UK provider to hold EuRA’s Global Quality Seal — the relocation industry’s highest level accreditation process, audited by DQS Global.
- Members are supported with training, thought leadership from experts in the industry and networking opportunities, meaning we work closely with partners who maintain the same high levels of quality within the network.
- Icon’s CEO, Simon Johnston is part of a select group of providers who run forward-thinking research into what it means to be an expert, sustainable DSP.
The Association of Relocation Professionals network
- ARP is the UK sister organisation of EuRA and focuses on specialist UK relocation requirements and training. Being a member of this select network enables Icon to work closely with the very best UK relocation companies.
- Our CEO, Simon Johnston is on the ARP board and was formerly chair. He is part of an ARP lobby group leading the charge to raise UK government awareness of the importance of UK-inbound international relocation, and a working group looking at best practice on common relocation industry issues such as modern slavery, the environment, data protection and insurance.
The International Relocation Association network
- Founded in 1982, TIRA is the world’s longest established, international, owner-run DSP network. Membership requires passing a stringent external audit to ensure your organisation meets core requirements, has strong references and a well-regarded reputation.
- TIRA undertakes work to inspire innovation, drive ESG standards and provide creative thought leadership amongst its members through combined campaign efforts, networking, training and knowledge sharing.
In-house quality management and partner oversight
- We have in-house quality and supply chain assurance processes, overseen by a quality and supplier manager.
- We track and monitor all partners for KPIs and targets, ensuring they’re working to our standards and best practice.
- We have defined escalation processes so that in the rare case any remedial action needs to be taken, it can be quick. We track actions taken and the outcomes to ensure no issues repeat.
- We run quality assurance on best practice amongst our teams, including cross-team audits, to provide objective scrutiny of processes and highlight room for improvement.
