Singapore is a popular relocation destination. Its strategic location, low taxes and pro-business policies are just a few factors that combine to make it a very favourable business environment. Of Singapore’s approximate population of 5.7 million, around 29% are non-residents, encompassing foreign workers, students and expatriates. Aside from being an important business centre for Asia, Singapore is also known for its cleanliness, multiculturalism and safety.
In the relocation industry, there is an enormous amount of data attributed to every single relocation. For each assignee who is moving to a new location, their destination, origin, family size and contact details are all required. Additionally, their requirements for their new home are recorded, including budget, area requirements, property type and size and required start date. Meanwhile, there is a multitude of data on the current rental market, including the number of properties available, the average rents, property sizes and property locations.
