I’ve worked in the relocation industry for almost 20 years. This has given me an in-depth appreciation of the complex interdependencies of our services — helping develop my strong analytical skills, commercial awareness of the market, and a deep understanding of what creates true customer satisfaction in global mobility.
I find it very rewarding to critically examine processes and issues to find innovative and more productive and efficient ways to improve and resolve them. In my previous role as Operations Manager I led initiatives to underpin our methods to consistently provide high quality services whilst seeking cost efficiencies on behalf of our clients. I’m really proud of the excellent customer satisfaction scores we received during this time which showcased my abilities to supportively engage and lead the team to achieve great results.
Exceptional service quality and supply chain management are vitally important to our ability to support successful relocation outcomes for our clients and our global growth plans. My focus is to ensure all procedures, best practices and policies related to quality, compliance and ESG are continuously embedded and adhered to across the organisation.
We work closely with our worldwide partner networks and clients to optimise service excellence and trust by establishing clear, transparent and fully vetted and audited processes and standards. In recognition of our track record on this we are now the longest standing UK relocation company to hold the EuRA quality accreditation. This is thanks to our well-regarded, systematic approach to implementing robust quality control measures, conducting regular audits, promoting a culture of quality awareness, and utilising ISO standard methodologies to drive process improvements and ensure product and service quality. More recently this includes achieving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and the EcoVadis Gold standard — the highest standard in our industry.
I am also the chair of Icon’s mental health and wellbeing, and environmental committees. I’m a fully trained mental health first aider and am passionate about building confidence and understanding in colleagues so that they can support each other in times of need.
