I’ve worked in the global mobility industry for over 15 years. I like that no two days are the same, there’s always variety, a challenge, an opportunity to find the best solution.
I really enjoy working with colleagues, clients and assignees alike. I have a ‘can do’ perspective and love a challenge. I believe in working hard, but to get the very best everyone has to be enjoying it. In a service industry with people at the heart of what we do, it’s so important to listen, be approachable, and to be able to empathise with others.
In my role I have oversight of the operational management of our relocation cases. I ensure our teams have the skills and training they need, that they work together cohesively, and that we maintain high quality delivery on every assignment so that all of our clients and assignees are happy with their relocation experience.
My daily motivation comes from working out our priorities, providing clarity, and working with others to identify the key needs and how we can best work together to achieve great service outcomes that we can all be proud of.
I aim to lead by example, sharing my EuRA MIM qualified expertise and experience. My focus is to enable everyone to progress within the team — maintaining clearly defined roles and processes, identifying development opportunities, providing supportive management and mentoring, and overseeing progressive exposure to projects and responsibilities.
I find the way we do things at Icon really rewarding. We never lose sight of our clients’ needs and ensure we’ve got the detail covered through our tried-and-tested processes. But we always leave room for creativity and new ideas, and everyone has a voice.
