I’ve worked in relocation for over 25 years, serving a wide variety of multinational and specialist businesses, a large number of whom I can proudly say have been with us at Icon for more than a decade.
I really enjoy the variety and complexity of global mobility, where no single day is the same. My progressive career roles have enabled me to grow a deep appreciation of the variety of skills and disciplines involved within international relocation — account management, where strong client liaison is key, operational project management where attention to detail is vital, and leadership and people management where relationships, clarity of communication and listening to views and taking timely decisions is fundamental.
I’m very focused on adding value and seeking to do our best as a company. It has been a real joy to help Icon develop into the global relocation company it is today from more humble beginnings. I especially enjoy motivating team members and seeing them grow and develop with support and experience.
As Chief Commercial Officer I oversee the commercial strategy to drive our business growth. A core part of this involves ensuring the effective delivery of our outstanding customer service so that we are consistently adding value to current and prospective clients. I also support the oversight of new products and services as we consistently innovate in the market.
I find it extremely rewarding to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients — really getting to know them, what their needs and concerns are, as well as providing insightful solutions based on an in-depth knowledge of our business and the global mobility industry.
Internally, I think colleagues would agree I’m straight talking, tenacious, and hardworking, but that I’m fair and take time to understand others views, never asking anyone to do anything I wouldn’t do.
